Tommy Bartlett eat your heart out!
(or adventures in float flying...)
Our first
attempt at float flying was, well....let's just say there
was some swimming involved... While I didn't get another chance last summer, Pilsner did, and got some nice photos too! |

Wisconsinites Fly All Year!
February 20, 1999 - We had a perfect Wisconsin winter day - sunny and partly cloudy, the temperature was 30 degrees with light winds from the northeast. With a hard crust on the snow we were able to walk on top without sinking in. We each got about 7 flights in with our trainers, which have been outfitted for winter/float flying with GeeBee floats. In our opinion, the floats work much better than skis! | |
